LITTLE BENANCE

This abstract painting evokes memories of holidays in Brittany, and more specifically in the Gulf of Morbihan. By playing with the fascinating properties of ink and watercolor, I explore the nuances of color: burnt sienna for the rocks and mud, and the blue-green of the sea and sky. The shapes and contrasts recall the rocks, the sea, and the sky.
