LES PILIERS D'O.R

Inspired by natural elements, the pilings of seawalls, the breakwaters of Breton beaches, or the oyster farmers' poles are all essential supports and stabilizers of their environment. In this work, the pillars embody the foundations that structure our existence, often deeply rooted anchor points upon which we rely to move forward in our daily lives. Like a mantra, each band carries a profound message and represents a cornerstone of a life.

The work belongs to the Resilience series, which is part of a plastic research conducted through color and material, questioning the way in which our lives are built and transformed, constantly oscillating between balance and imbalance.

Resilience thus proposes a symbolic architecture: a structure that is both supportive and vulnerable, which supports the individual, society and memory, while revealing their intrinsic fragility.
